I just got fibre optic installed today and my calculator claims that I'm entering the incorrect security key when Im not. The internet works with other devices but not my estimator, can somebody delight help.

I had the same trouble and I was e'er back to foursquare zero each time I restarted my laptop. Hither is how I fixed it windows 8 and should work for windows seven as well.

1. Right click the wireless sign at the job bar, and then select "Network and Sharing Centre."
two. Select "Prepare a new connection or network" beneath Change your networking settings.
3. Chose a connection choice, cull "Manually connect to a wireless network, connect to a hidden network or create a new wireless contour" and click next.
iv. Internet piece of work name: The aforementioned network name that yous take.
Security type: Cull WPA2-personal
Encryption type: Choose AES
Security key: Enter the same password that you lot always apply.
Tick the box "Commencement this connection automatically."
5. Click next
6. Go dorsum to connect wireless pane, select your network name and enter the same countersign.

I hope this has solved your trouble besides because I no longer feel any problem ever since I fix mine.

More info is needed. Comput6er is saying security central is wrong? Do you hateful Windows logon? Bios password?

Ok this is the security key for your router. If yous can access the router your tin can find the key. Or, I would become back to the other computers that are accessing the internet and look at the fundamental in them to brand sure you are inbound the right key.
